WHO ARE WE AND WHAT DO WE DO?
When visiting the AGA Shop Harrogate you will be welcomed by our friendly, well established team of Jean, Ellie and Stephen who between them have many years of AGA experience. We are also pleased to announce Angela who joined the team in July. They can expertly guide potential new owners towards choosing the right appliance for a kitchen rennovation, assist existing owners with updating or restoring a existing AGA or simply help you choose the ideal piece of cookware, no matter what cooker you own. You might even bump into a celebrity or two as among our customers are members of the Emmerdale Cast, Hugo Spears from The Full Monty and various sporting personalities.
DEMONSTRATIONS AND EVENTS:
Throughout the year we hold various Demonstrations, Open Days and events all geared at highlighting just how versatile and flexible AGA cooking is. Our events are relaxed, informal and allow you to mix with potential and existing AGA owners alike, discovering why many owners find the AGA 'the heart of the home'.
We are holding a demonstration on Thursday 26th August at 1.00pm - 'Day In The Life Of An Aga' with Jackie McKitrick, as well as a demonstration at Peter Thompsons at York on Thursday 23rd September at 6.30pm. EMMA BRIDGEWATER POLKA DOT AGA COMES TO HARROGATE!
Renowned pottery designer Emma Bridgewater has designed an iconic 'polka dot' AGA that will add a real statement and talking point to any home. The special edition AGA is only available as a 3 oven 13amp electric cooker and features AGA's amazing intelligent management system that means it can be programmed to be at full temperature only when you need it to be! This fantastic looking AGA will form part of our showroom display on 27th April 2010.
AGA AUTHENTIC UPGRADE PROGRAMME
AGA now offer three exciting opportunities for AGA owners to upgrade their existing AGA:
RE-INVENT allows you to add the innovative AGA Intelligent Management System (AIMS) to your existing cooker so that it is only a full temperature when you need to be. At other times it will be in ‘low’ or ‘slumber’ mode, reducing the heat output into the kitchen and conserving fuel!
RESTORE allows to to upgrade the exterior of your AGA to make it look like new! We can change the insulated domes, the black top or you can change the colour to suit your décor
RENEW allows you to trade in your existing AGA against a new model. Your existing AGA will be recycled and the raw cast iron will form part of a new one. Indeed, over 70% of an AGA comes from recycled material.
